Cabcher v8.1.0: Introducing Advanced Pricing & Improved Quotation Flow

1. Vehicle display based on minimum distance

Vehicles will now be displayed based on the minimum distance that has been configured for each vehicle. This means that only those vehicles which fall within the specified minimum distance threshold will appear, improving relevance and reducing unnecessary clutter in the display. The system filters out vehicles beyond this set range, ensuring that users see only the most nearby and contextually useful options.

2. Multi vehicles for drivers

A single driver can now be associated with multiple vehicles within the system, allowing greater flexibility in operations and resource management. This means that instead of being limited to just one vehicle, a driver can switch between different vehicles as needed—such as for different routes or service types.

3. Fixed pricing – excluding additional charges

This feature allows you to exclude additional charges when configuring fixed pricing, giving you more control over how final costs are calculated. In this setup, the fixed price you define becomes the complete and final charge for the service, without any additional fees such as distance surcharges, peak-time charges, or other extra costs being applied on top.

This is especially useful in scenarios where you want to offer transparent, all-inclusive pricing to customers.

4. Quotation – Accept/Reject process revised, quotation and payment mode update

The quotation Accept/Reject process has been revised to make it more streamlined and user-friendly. Users can now clearly review and take action on quotations with an improved flow, ensuring faster and more transparent decision-making. Alongside this, updates have been made to the quotation structure and payment mode configuration, allowing more flexibility in how pricing and payments are handled. Users can now select or modify payment modes more efficiently based on business needs. These enhancements improve overall clarity, reduce manual effort, and provide better control over quotation and payment workflows.

5. Copy pricing with percentage

Copy pricing has been enhanced to include a percentage-based adjustment option in addition to the existing price increase or decrease. Previously, users could only modify copied pricing by adding or subtracting a fixed amount, which required manual recalculations for different fare values. With this update, users can now apply percentage-wise increases or decreases across all pricing options, making the process more dynamic and scalable. This ensures that pricing adjustments remain proportional to the base fare, improving consistency across different scenarios. Overall, it simplifies pricing management and provides greater flexibility in configuring pricing strategies.

6. Quotation form page/URL introduced

A new Quotation form page/URL has been introduced to simplify how quotations are shared and accessed. With this feature, quotations can now be embedded directly into external websites or platforms using an iFrame, eliminating the need to redirect users to a separate page. This provides a seamless and consistent user experience while viewing or interacting with quotations.
